About HH Giriraj Swami
Giriraj Swami is an initiating guru within the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and one of the leading disciples of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder-acharya of ISKCON.
Presently based in Carpinteria, Giriraj Swami focuses on writing, one of the main personal instructions that he received from Srila Prabhupada. He is the author of several publications, including books about death and dying in the Vedic tradition, his search for a spiritual master, and, most recently, the founding of the Juhu temple in India (I'll Build You a Temple: The Juhu Story) and traveling with Srila Prabhupada throughout India in 1970-1972 (Dancing White Elephants).
